KMD, one of the largest IT companies in Denmark, has recently joined as an industrial partner in the NexGSD research project. Associate Professor and PI Pernille Bjørn expresses “We are very excited about being able to conduct empirical studies in KMD, which brings a unique perspective to the project”. KMD hereby also joins a network of other collaborative NexGSD partners such as NNIT, TATA Consultancy Service, TEO, HCL Technologies and L&T InfoTech.
The collaboration with KMD focuses on understanding emerging changes in the local work, when Danish organisations engage in global software development. “Our core experts at KMD are the main asset of KMD, and it is important that we listen to our Danish employees and include their perspectives when setting up the structures for global software development, and our collaboration with NexGSD will help us with this”, says Global Delivery Manager at KMD, Claus Trillingsgaard. The study will be conducted by Stina Matthiesen, PhD. student in NexGSD over the next 1,5 years.
