Ph.D fellow’s paper published by the ECIS Conference 2014

The-Rhetoric-of-cultureThe ECIS conference 2014 has now officially announced the publication of the paper The Rhetoric of culture as an act of closure in a cross national software development department written by PhD fellow Rasmus Eskild Jensen from IT University of Copenhagen and Professor Bonnie Nardi from the School of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine.

It was during Rasmus’ stay at the University of California, Irvine that he got the chance to collaborate with Bonnie Nardi on this paper. The analysis is grounded in the empirical findings from Rasmus’ research at a global software development company in the Philippines, USA and Denmark. Rasmus will be finishing his PhD dissertation this summer as well as presenting his paper in Israel at the ECIS 2014, the Top Tier European Conference on Information Systems,  in June.
